Personality Pathology and Insider Threat (1.5 CE)
Personality disorders are characterized by specific maladaptive patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impair functioning and psychological well-being. Recognizing and understanding these unique patterns can aid insider threat professionals in assessing and managing insider risk. A Behavioral Threat Analysis Center (BTAC) Behavioral Science Subject Matter Expert (SME) will use illustrations, case examples, and empirical literature to explore key concepts in personality pathology and demonstrate their application in behavioral threat assessment.
