W E L C O M E The DCSA Security Conference for Industry will be held virtually on April 23-24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. This year’s theme is “The Power of Partnership: Trust in People, Facilities, Systems, and Data” and emphasizes the critical role of trust in building strong partnership across the defense industrial base.
This unclassified event will accommodate up to 3,000 industry security professionals, including FSOs, Directors of Security, Insider Threat Senior Program Officials, Information System Security Managers, Senior Management Officials, mission support personnel, and more. The 2-day conference will be hosted on Adobe Connect, with various session topics and interactive panel discussions designed to strengthen relationships between government and industry by fostering a comprehensive exchange of ideas, collaboration, and share best security practices across different roles and security disciplines. Security professionals from Industry—FSOs, Assistant FSOs, Directors of Security, Insider Threat Program Senior Officials, Information System Security Managers, Senior Management Officials and Mission Support Personnel.
2. How will I know I am registered? You will receive an email confirmation once your registration request has been approved. Space is limited, so register early.
3. What will I need to access the conference? You will need a computer or mobile device, internet connection, and the email and password you used during registration. You also may need a telephone depending on your audio preference (see #5). You will receive the direct link to the conference in a reminder email closer to the event.
4 What are the system requirements? You can access the virtual event from any computer as long as you have an internet connection and a current HTML5 browser. Alternatively you may access the event with the Adobe Connect Application.

5. What are the video and audio requirements? In order to accommodate audience participation variances and bandwidth concerns, audio for the conference will be available through Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and a separate phone conferencing service.
For VoIP, attendees listen through their computer or mobile device speakers.
Remember to unmute and adjust your computer or mobile device speaker volume accordingly.
If you experience technical issues with VoIP, please use a separate phone conferencing service.
To access the phone conferencing service, simply dial the conference line provided in the virtual room and enter the participant code when prompted.
While not always necessary, some tips for maximizing conference connection performance include:
•Closing all other open applications •Disabling popup blocking •Clearing the Internet browser’s cache
6. How many PDUs will I earn for attending this conference? Participants will earn 6 SPēD Certification PDUs per day or 1 PDU per hour of participation for this conference. More information about recording PDUs can be found at https://www.cdse.edu/certification/maintain-sped.html.
7. Can I participate as a group in a large conference room? Group participation is allowed, in accordance with your organization’s policies. However, you must register individually, to receive an email confirmation of attendance. Certificate of attendance will not be provided for this conference (See #8).
8. Will I receive a certificate of attendance for this conference? No. A certificate of attendance is not required to record SPēD Certification PDUs earned. An email confirming attendance or a registration email may be used instead.
